I'm a big Blur fan, but unfortunately the new album sounds a bit like an Albarn solo record or one of his efforts with The Good, the Bad And the Queen. I don't really feel the group spirit of Blur there. If this was a non-Blur album it would be decent, but this way I have to say that Darren doesn't even reach the level of Magic Whip. Comparisons with 13 are unfortunately completely inappropriate. What a shame.
