2 hours of fun, it's what I want from a film. Suspend realism and go with the story. I love the other work of the writer and those directors and the stars, they seem familiar too. Good work all round.

It's brilliantly bonkers. Some will undoubtedly hate it. They are not crafting art-house but they are mining and world building - with square pink sheep, zombies and evil pigs. Jack Black is in fullon crazy mode but the film deserves nothing less. Jason Moma looked like he was having a blast. I wanted to be entertained and I was. I knew a bit about the game and found everything I remember beautifully recreated in the stunning visuals. Laughed out loud and want to see where it goes next.

Don't know the video game so came to it with no idea what was going on. Reminded me of 80s bonkers sci-fi movies. Made me laugh, ridiculous in a fun way. Video game formulaic for the fans I guess but, hey, why not. It's never going to be highbrow sci-fi. Just 2 hours of fun.

Wow Another awesome spectacle from Chris Nolan. Yes it will make your head spin but so what. I don't want to be spoon fed lackluster nonsense. Visually as compelling as the twisting plot. Hats off to the production team. Going to be debating the twists and implications of this for ages. Cool music too.
