There are many people here in the Reviews who have argued that "This documentary is another application of Behavioral science to get views". (And rightfully so).
But i want to share something with them. I am a sociologist. And when i teach this Discipline to new students, i tell them about the importance of conducting a research/study in an Empirical and "Objective manner." I.e. without any pre-conceived notions and biases.
And amusingly, there are always some "smart" students who raise their hands and say "But sir! it is you and these books that are telling us how to conduct a study, why should we believe you? Why does it have to be objective? If you make the rules then how is it objective?".
Same is happening with these people who are consciously or unconsciously undermining the real "message" of this documentary.
There is a reason that Stoicism prevailed over other philosophical schools(like the SCEPTICS) of Hellenistic age. At the end of the day, you have to take a calculated stand.
Do you think social media is benefitting you? Yes? Then great.
Do you think social media is deteriorating your mental health and work schedule?
Yes? Get rid of it.
