Some things age gracefully, like fine wine. "Company Business" is much more enjoyable now than it was in the early nineties, given the nearly thirty years of history since it was made. The critics were not kind back then; but, having spent way too much time in Berlin, both pre and post wall; it's a valuable part of my movie library. There is some confusion in the script; but it looks like Gene Hackman and Mikhail Baryshnikov had a good time making it. This is important to me because so many of the actors I grew up with have passed from the scene, one way or another. The movie brought back that part of my life and still holds my interest... as well as that of my kids and grandkids when we watch it together. Try it; you'll like it.
