Been playing for a couple days on the Switch. The info boxes have to be the worse thing that I've been dealing with. They quite literally get in the way, some you can't get rid of so I've been moving the camera around to try and see what I'm doing. Frustration isn't even close to this experience.
Playing this game makes me feel like I'm just a ball in a pinball machine. Not too sure what's going on just bouncing around with decisions to see what happens, especially with building up the cities/towns. I kinda just pick buildings and place them anywhere until it runs out then move on to building troops. If it matters where I place them then I can't tell.
Playing this game makes me want to play civ 6 I feel you controlled more and I understood what was happening better. I dislike how to can't progress faster then other civilisations, you lose all your troops placements when the ages change too. Also when ages change your civilization changes I kinda like that a little bit though I started as the Persians first for example then in the next age I was Mongolian. I like the army grouping off the bat too. No research needed. Also the research tree is weird, it doesn't pass your age so like no guns in the stone age type stuff but it'll let you research bronze armor 3 times.
I don't know, overall I think I'll go back to playing Civ 6 until more updates an fixes come out. It's kinda fun but leaves me wanting a more Civilization style game.
