Jake Gyllenhaal ruined the character of Dalton. Dalton was not arrogant or suicidal. The movie was also dismantled and all the secondary characters lacked substance an lines frankly. Also, they barely got into how the antagonist tormented the town like the original or how tormented Dalton was for previously killing a man. It was so far from the plot of the original movie it should not have been labeled as a re-make of roadhouse.
