I had hopes for this series. I don’t want to give anything away. It is an enjoyable show overall but just too much back and forth, yelling. I can understand mom daughter relationships can be strained but they too it too far. Then afree episode 8 or so, they decided to bring out the worst in people. At a critical time in one particular character’s life, all the people around that person just behave so selfishly. I know this is drama (and kdrama) but I just don’t think it was convincing that people are so ridiculously insensitive and unsettling.

It was a decent mystery at first, had all the right elements like suspense, murder, twists etc but somewhat the story overall wasn't unbelievable. The characters and events did not tie together and editing was haphazard, making everything very irritating and disjointed. I fast forwarded through most of it. Should have stopped watching after the first episode. But I didn't want to give up l, it had enough to keep me hoping the series would improve. Kinda like when you wait at a bus stop long enough and no sense giving up. Well in this case that bus never came 🤣

Cinematically striking, plot thrilling, leaves you wondering what's going on, decent acting by especially Florence. But then what? The story doesn't go anywhere, doesn't really connect you to the characters at all and leaves you with a big question marks. It tried too hard to be like a cult classic about a utopia. In the end, a movie doesn't achieve that simply by leaving way many unanswered question. Felt I wasted a couple of hours.

I really regret to say I found the whole drama a bit boring, disjointed with too many stories weaving in and out. The first part was really convincing with two youngsters escaping from abusive fathers. But the whole stranded on the island thing was just not believable. Ok even one can accept it, there were simply too many stories. Mokha character and acting is always good. They all was acted well. The problem was really the editing. Too many cuts, flashbacks. My main issue is the storyline. The older actress struggling to regain her career, but why bring her ailing mom and childhood into it? Another irritating sideline story that didn't help develop the story along in any meaningful way was the two brothers liking the same girl. It was kinda unnecessary. As such KiHo showed no real feelings for Mokha and honestly I didn't sense any chemistry between them. On the other hand his brother really liked her but he just got swept aside. Just created an additional conflict that either should have been handled better or jist left out.

Horrible. Everything from the script, concept, overacting and god awful. Really who approved this script? I went in understanding this was a dark comedy, the film was disturbing and also not enlightening in any way. Just a freak story. The topic of wife abuse is too important to be portrayed in this manner.
