If I could give it 0 I would. The game starts out great, looks good, and graphics are par for the course. Things take a turn when you realize the story mode is more “open world” and you miss half the events if you don’t explore every corner. I believe it was a 3 hour story mode but if you’re used to first person shooters you will run through it much faster and barely notice the story line. Unfortunately the prerelease was the best part. I gave zombies a go, and oh boy was I disappointed. First off you have other teams running around you can’t shoot, the zombies don’t get more difficult by level but by area of map you are in, and when they attack you its like getting hit with sticks in mw2. Not scary, not enticing, and barely fun. I enjoyed the first 20 zombies I shot, and my first 10 minutes in the “DMZ” type mode. I was very upset it had next to 0 similarities to the zombies we all know and love. Feels like a mode that should be free like resurgence. They would have done better updating black ops 2 and calling it mw3. And now to the multiplayer mess. Perks and throwable items aren’t available off the bat, you have to unlock them. Meaning you’re stuck with a rifle and a pistol while your opponent is carrying a m4 and vel. I bought the vault edition and can barely tell what I got with it. It’s mediocre. I keep seeing all these fraudulent reviews about this game being best in the series and it scares me. Are you sure you’re not confusing COD with Gears of war? If you are an individual who plays resurgence or DMZ, for the love of god stay in your game and don’t give this a try. Buy a new skin and gun for 20$ have fun and save yourself the extra 40-80$.
