I had been wanting to see this movie for sometime and now I made it. As a fan of Manirathnam, this movie serves to understand his roots. Even though it is Kannada (and I know very little from exposure to Bangalore) the dialogues and conversations appear very sweet. I bought the album from Saregama and it is totally worth it - Ilaiyaraja + SPB. Pleasantly surprised it was also Balumahendra's cinematography and every frame is photo album worthy. Great to see Manirathnam recreated some of the scenes into Mouna Ragam and later in Alaipayuthey. Good watch.
