What a perfect homage to Edgar Allen Poe. They managed to weave his works to tell one larger story while still remaining loyal to the original individual stories. I greatly enjoy Poes work. I've read all his major works and currently working to read ALL of his works. Needless to say, I savored all the references to Poe's creations.Because of that I knew exactly what was going to happen in each episode and so the modern setting immediately gave it a fresh air where although i knew it was coming I could still enjoy it and it kept me at the edge of my seat. If you're an Edgar Allen Poe fan, watch this show.

Love this movie I'm a huge Lovecraft fan amd this movie nails the Lovecraft asthetic and despite some changes it keeps the essence of the original story "Shadow over Insmouth". 10/10

Funny as hell, great homage to slasher films and crime duo show with unique characters. The kid and his imaginary friend were a highlight but all of the characters were enjoyable.

Halarious Dark Comedy with Great Story and funny Characters. Highly recommend but not for kids or sensitive people Spoilers and more details ahead This is a halarious dark comedy about Stan, a sleazy con man who got caught and sentenced to prison and is absolutely terrified of getting raped in prison. After exahusting all legal options he meets the cigarette smoking The Master, one of the funniest characters of the entire film, who teaches Stan martial arts in order to defend himself and assert dominance which he does with great success, unifying all the gangs and bringing order and peace. The topic is very dark but the characters are funny enough that its an enjoyable film. That said it is definitely not for kids or for people who are sensitive

Amazing film! This movie captured perfectly the atmosphere of the original book, yes it took some liberties like adding characters that werent in the book but it works. It is really a shame it is not doing well, the production and acting are great and the special effects are beyond what I could have hoped. I have read Dracula more than three times and have NEVER seen a movie adaptation that managed to bring the feeling of Dracula. Dracula was not a good looking guy that sparkles, he was not a sad soul who lost the love of his life and is looking for her reincarnation or even a goofy over the top character, he is a cruel vicious creature of Darkness and this movie captured him perfectly. If you are a Dracula fan go watch it as you will appreciate the adaptation, if you dont like vampires go watch it because you have probably not seen a vampire movie like this one and your idea of a vampire is not what this is, if you are a monster movie fan and just want to see a monster kill a group of characters go watch it as it delivers.
