I really wanted to love this. Like A Chorus Line before it, the film could’ve explored the differences and stories of the newer vs older dancers. It was gloomy and stayed gloomy. I enjoyed the camaraderie of the dancers but it was only on screen for a fraction of the time. I just left thinking “what did I just watch?” For what they were given the main characters gave it their all.

Fantastic. Chalamet is incredible and Ed Norton captures the kind and quiet Seeger so well. The music serves as a perfect backdrop and the timing made the running time fly by. As a Dylan fan I’m completely enthralled.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. I’m picky and it takes a bit to impress me. This series has superb acting and it goes by very quickly. The atmosphere makes you believes it’s the 70s. I can’t wait for the next episode. It could easily be an enjoyable big screen movie.
