I have to automatically assume that the one star reviews are males who wrote off the movie before it started because it’s female driven. Females who wrote it, procured the funding, then shot it in 16 days (and the one star reviewer really thinks 1. Like 4 million dollars is a BIG BUDGET FOR A FILM?!). Last but not least females starred in it. Some will write it off as period jokes and girls who are faking it? THEY DO NOT EXIST…right? Even the distributor who picked up did nothing to push it because they know these aholes are a big percent of the people buying movie tickets so they can try and feel their date up in a movie theater. It’s funny, clever, and so unlike any other “female comedy”. It’s not two females who end up going on a crazy adventure with lots of silly mishaps on the way. Props to Lauren Miller for not relying on Seth Rogen, she could have! Everyone uses whatever advantages they have to get ahead, but it seems like this was her project, he has a cameo but that whole group of actors cameos for each other because they were in the neighborhood at the time. Phone sex girls are faking it! Sorry to disappoint, but gezzz vat? So is yo girl!!!!
