My husband and I loved HOC until the last season. Given the removal of Kevin Spacey, it’s clear the writers couldn’t fill his void. Claire Underwood’s character is fantastic however it was not strong enough to finish the series. In my heart I wish Kevin Spacey had never left. I felt the final season was so awful they shouldn’t have even done it. It was clear the writers were in a tailspin. What made HOC fantastic is that it was truly crafted from beginning (almost up) until the end and that it was BELIEIVABLE. The confusing plots that entailed in the final season were so far-fetched - it was incredibly disappointing and the show deserved a better finale. Many storylines where forgotten what about Senator Jackie and Remi? it would’ve been interesting to find out how the finale was supposed to be before Kevin was fired. I say do-over & bring him back but I realize he messed it up for us but you can’t deny his powerful performance.
