I wouldn’t say I disliked El Camino...I can say I HATED it. Jessie wasn’t the “Jessie Pinkman” that I came to love about the legendary series. He was a damaged, non entertaining, annoying, foreign to the formula character. And I won’t even get started on Todd.....to make it short, I literally wanted to knock him off his entire screen time, as Jessie “chose” to be his tortured slave. It actually would have warranted a laugh if Jessie would have polished the pistol before willingly handing it over to Todd. Instead, they went with the irritating, submissive, boring, and surrendering route. Finally, Walter White’s return...to me, it was inevitable that he was gonna make an appearance. To me, it would have been soooo satisfying if after this six year withdrawal, it would have ended with Walt walking into an environment with Jessie already there, and to everyone’s astonishment that he is indeed alive and said something to Jessie along the lines of “How about one more cook?”. And if that was the absolute last of Breaking Bad forever, I would be able to sit back and say that was an excellent series! So instead of the show ending with Pinkman driving away from his captivity, and the audience left with pondering his future, we now are left with pondering his Alaskan future. Yipeeee!!!!!
