I watched this film just to kill some time but it totally sucked me into it. The soundtrack by boards of Canada is perfectly creepy. Unlike most new horror movies that are just either torture porn or full of jumpscares. This film has a couple but they really added to the experience. Ethan Hawk is excellent as the writer trying to get the adulation he got for his first book again and puts his family at risk. I won't leave any spoilers but I can't get some of the deaths out of my mind being carried out by kids. Highly recommend film.

Great dramatisation of the collapse of what was thought to last forever. The Reich lasted 4 years,led to hundreds of millions of deaths, a permanent change in global geography. Shows that an uneducated, also financially bankrupt populace can support a madman who promises enough. (USA Take note). Bruno ganz and supporting cast make this powerful,and terrifying,and o so real. Best dramatisation of Hitler, here he is sick physically, addicted to drugs and delusional,. (He was sure he had large amounts of soldiers to fight for him, ignored the news his russian expedition army was totally surrounded. He was terrifyied of capture by Russia. All acting is top class but Ganz is stunning as Hitler. Very accurate,but not for younger kids due to violence,drugs,death,suicide. But a must see for all.
