It was an ok movie. Clearly aimed at younger fans. The movie isn’t perfect, but it has its moments. It captures the essence of the character and brings a lot of the early mythos. Overall I think it does a decent job of setting up this new universe.

As a book adaptation it’s probably around 75% accurate, but as a standalone film it’s a masterpiece. Some events and characters diverge from the original source, but the overall message remains intact. Beautiful movie.

I loved the movie. They didn’t rush and took the time to build the world and the characters that inhabit it. I hope they get to finish the saga.
