I'm sort of disappointed. It feels like Bethesda tried to make storylines longer, but didn't understand how to pace them, so we ended up with a confused, emotionally incongruent mess.
The reactions of NPCs are entirely mismatched to the magnitude of what's going on, and their motivations are simplistic stereotypes, and entirely unconvincing.
I do like the crafting and skill system though.
Storytelling: 3/10
Combat: 4/10
Sandbox build an adventure: 7/10
Worse stories than Skyrim, worse combat than Fallout, and worse writing than either.
