I had rewatched the first Megan just a few days ago in prep for this one, and seeing both the original and sequel back to back, I can say with confidence that the sequel was better. Was it a pretty much 360 in terms of genre and storyline—yes, but was it also very entertaining, and followed the development of the characters from the first movie—yes. It’s a fun watch, and I hope Hollywood makes more films like these, because sometimes you just need to watch a movie that’ll have you thinking ‘what the f$ck 😭’
