LOVEDDDDD IT. Gehrayian is not just about the depth in the chemistry of two people in love. It's about the different layers everyone has in their lives, that no one knows about. The movie shows how intergenerational trauma happens, and how our childhood impacts our adult life and relationships. how it shapes what we view is okay and what's not. People are saying it normalises infidelity. Well, just because one has made movie around crime, doesn't mean they are glorifying crime! We need to understand why people do what they do, instead of judging a movie superficially. We need to understand the vulnerability of human beings and how we are all so complicated sometimes. They also showcase that one has a choice to move on from the past. Sometimes you feel like you can't move on but you actually can with help. And The support that was provided justified it all. As a psychologist, I felt the movie had much more gehrayian which have been portrayed beautifully.
