This feels like everything i've missed from assassin's creed games. The progression system truly feels like you are gaining proficiency at assassinating targets. Failing isn't punished harshly and it truly feels like a return to quick kills from the shadows instead of all-out brawling. Haven't had this much fun since black flag.

As someone who struggles with a lot that John went through, it was extremely touching to see into his life with this special. I could feel the gravity of what he had gone through so when a joke came it was relief in the best of ways. I was delighted by the arc of his story and I marveled for the first time at how many methods John can use to catch you off-guard and surprise you with a laugh. I'm hope to see more from John M. This special cemented him as my favorite comedian (not a category I had ever given thought to before).
