Watching Moxie made me happy, excited, and proud, to be a young woman! I don't think the way feminism is shown in this film is harmful in any way to the movement. The way the characters show fear to be part of the Moxie groups was depicted realistically. It is not easy for some people to be part of something bigger than themselves or to make their voice heard because so many others think it isn't normal. Also, I appreciate this film for representing different races, cultures, and sexualities. As soon as I finished watching Moxie, all I could think about was sharing it with my little sisters! Thank you for this!!
