This movie was so unbearably bad.. in every way. How the fuck did a team of people say ”yes, let’s green light this and give it money” Dogshit stupid and cringe from start to finish

It’s a decent show, but for a format that’s supposed to be every hour of a shift, it’s REEEEAALLLYY formulaic and predictable. Multiple simultaneous crisis every hour, sassy junior nurse gets too arrogant and gets scolded and then literally forgets and does the same thing immediately after; same doctor sprayed with some bodily fluid and changes scrubs every. single. hour. ; let’s make room for hot confident lady doctor to just randomly show up halfway thru each crisis just in time to say something cool and sassy to show she’s not panicking at all… literally where did she come from? Aaaand she’s gone again just as fast as she appeared; let’s not forget the wise rough around the edges but still gentle charge nurse who’s seen it all and provided snippy dialogue with everyone, and therapy to the main doctor who, you guessed it - has a mysterious romantic entanglement with the lead nurse that goes way back but is still warm and simmering.. queue the ethics dilemma and ponder if the decisions are right and fair; oops forgot about angry waiting room guy, here again to remind us he’s angry in the waiting room. It’s literally the same episode over and over and over. If it was meant to have a time span of days or weeks, sure repeats happen. But it’s the same thing. Every hour. Of the same shift. It got old pretty fast..

Loved it and really looking forward to where Netflix takes the story. I thought they did a great job in keeping aligned with the source material, taking some creative liberties, and as a long time fan I I thought it was beautifully executed. Sure there’s some room for creative feedback. Maybe the acting wasn’t the most amazing, but for what it was, I’m thoroughly impressed. I genuinely don’t understand people hating on it. THAT level of toxic fandom is the reason why we don’t get nice things and it’s ironic - The people claiming to love it most are the reason why ratings waver. I’m just curious what exactly it is they are looking for.
