There are a few things in life that have made my faith in Christ and my love for him grow deeper than I ever thought they could. The Chosen series has now become one of them. For the first time, it occurred to me that the disciples weren't just static characters dropped into a storyline all about Christ, but that the Gospel is all about the effect of Jesus' Words and life created in the lives of those around him. Isn't that why I believed in him in the first place? The acting, setting, storytelling... far better than any Christian filming I have ever seen, and far more life-giving than ANY movie/tv show I have ever watched.
