Absolutely dire! Does this make me want to read the book? Maybe because flitting from one year to another in such brief tv scenes is more than hard work. So bad I am not even sticking it out to the final episode. Such a shame as such a prize winning book must have been more compelling, easier to follow and believable than this hashed up production .
