So enjoy watching a “news” based show rather than the other entertainment shows that sporadically throw out news tidbits. Loved the Nora/Gayle/Charlie led news team. Was disappointed like most of America when Charlie had to be replaced, and he did have to be replaced. Liked John Dickerson but he just couldn’t hold his own up against Ms. Superwoman and Ms. Personality. Love Anthony Mason. He is tops in my book as a person whose humanity is as much a part of his delivery as his professionalism. Tony is easy to watch and listen to. His reporting is top notch and he seems like a team member who would work well with anyone. Gayle has grown in her delivery and as a reporter over the years though can become distracting with her strong “opinions”. I’m old school believing reporters are there to deliver the news which is why I changed from NBC to CBS (Also couldn’t bear watching the way Matt Laur treated Anne Curry). There’s a great team in place now. Give it time with this trio and watch it move up in ratings. The only improvement I would make would be adding Michelle Miller to the mix. Can’t wait to watch Nora Roberts anchor. Congratulations CBS for making great choices and giving your audience “the news”. Congratulations as well for having heart and finding better spots for Jeff Glor and John Dickinson instead of tossing them aside. Your sense of loyalty alongside of survival is appreciated more than you realize by your public. Well done!
