First and foremost, the casting is superb. This movie is not only historically accurate, but traces the Battle of Midway to its roots in the attack on Pearl Harbor and also includes the bombing of Tokyo by Doolittle's Raiders a few months later. It is a movie for WWII history buffs for sure, but it is also for the rest of us who simply enjoy story telling at its best.
