I just watched this. Before the movie I knew nothing about Lynard Skinner but was intrigued with the story. I thought I was fairly well done, building up the story of the band and the party scene they were a part of. It was infuriating to see the crash scene and the incompetence of the pilots that led to so many young and talented people dying. However the movie left me with so many questions: why didn’t Artemis’ wife come see him in the hospital?? What happened to the band and Artemis after the crash? Did he ever sue the label? Was there ever an investigation of that plane crash? It would have been good if they put one of those little explanations at the end. I can’t believe they tried to charge him with drug possession after the crash! The movie seemed to end rather prematurely and it’s good to see Artemis survived and is still playing. Obviously the band struggled a lot after the crash and was never able to recover.
