2 hours of my life I will never get back. Sure it’s an unnerving film. Sure it’s different, but different isn’t always a good thing. Not in this case. It does have the ability to put you on the edge of your seat, but you’ll literally stay there until the end and never get the full feeling of accomplishment with the picture. The dialogue is dull, mysterious and the drawn out scenes just don’t pull you in, all the way until the end. And that’s it. The end was absolutely atrocious. That’s it.

Whether or not this movie really hit home for you or not is entirely up to which generation you belong. If you grew up in the 1980-1990’s and were a huge fan of the original Twister film, this movie was incredibly cringy. On the other hand, for a 10 year old it was a YouTuber’s dream. I can’t stress enough how silly I found the movie to be. They not only defied basic physics with meteorology, continuously throughout the film (especially at the end) but I felt like I was watching a country music romance video with a tornado thrown in from time to time. Pretty country boy, nerdy girl from the city….the plot and story were just too predictable and straight forward for me. Corny is the adjective I would choose for this installment.

This is Adam Sandler at his best, beyond comedy. One must say, if you enjoy the f-word and yelling along with a massive amount of confusion, you’ll love this film. About 80% of it is knowing that Adam Sandler’s character is making terrible financial choices; gambling. But the viewer is presented with all of his downfalls and mistakes he makes along the way. It’s a loud movie, arguing, bickering and you find yourself saying, “who in the hell would actually do that without realizing they are screwing themselves?”
