Has anyone writing the reviews seen the actual musical?! The movie is the musical - I mean really, come on! It's Cats, the musical! Stop looking for plot or deeper substance. Read the damn book by T.S. Eliot! Does it have to make complete sense?! People hated it or loved it when it came out on Broadway, and the movie will get the same reaction no matter what. If only people wouldn't take themselves so seriously, they'd have fun seeing this movie. Can't wait for the sing-alongs to come out, and for it to reach cult status - because it will! It's fun, will make you laugh, may even make you cry. My 8 year old daughter loved it - it did not scare her!!! If Judy Dench and Idris Elba agreed to do it, don't worry so damn much! See it, or don't! Stop whining about it!
