Saw it tonight. It may be 2.5 hours but it didn’t feel like that. Spilt really into 3 acts, it gathers momentum mid Act 2 with some nostalgic ‘shining’ scenes in the last part. I enjoyed the film and the story and how it was delivered. I found the similar ‘Twilight’ themes disappointing and the film probably lacked a darker cutting edge, but it’s a good film. I think watching The Shining in advance if you have never seen it, helps get ‘into’ the film. Recommended
