I've read the reddit where most of them said that this is boring but i still gave it a chance and damn well i am happy with my decision. I love the psychological characteristics of the characters, esp the mc where it highlighted his struggle WHICH is relevant to the story. I can feel the characters like they are existing and not just some characters in a comics.
I've read a lot of good webnovels (like king's avatar, divine throne of the primordial blood, release that witch, my house of horrors, legendary mechanic, reverend insanity, etc.) where i cannot continue after i reached a thousand chapters because of i don't know why, but this webnovel strongly convinced me that the enjoyment of the story is still worth pursuing.
I've reached chapter 2000+ and i can say that the story is not predictable. It is a well-made in terms of world building and especially characters.
Overall, the novel is great, i'd give it a 10/10.
The only mistake, which is minor and irrelevant, i've seen is the main and side characters sometimes have the same way of "talking".
