I am a true fan of the 1979 mini series so I had my issues. It felt very condensed and rushed. They changed it up a little which I am fine with. Barlow was probably my biggest issue. Too much cgi for me. It had good atmosphere moments but again I wasn’t impressed with the special effects. Acting was good and it felt like a small town but overall after the first watch the 79 version is the best! Very disappointed
