Season 1 is incredible. It does not pull any punches in all aspects - animation, visuals, voice acting, world building, characters, music, story and writing - it knocks out of the park. Going in, I had fairly high expectations hearing the abundant praise it constantly received, and yet the show still far exceeded them. A landmark for animation, video game adaptations - and shows & movies in general. Can't wait for season 2 (and future seasons to come)!
