I think anyone giving them a low rating has not read the book, as the thing that stood out to me the most was that it mirrored the book very well. The casting was incredible and the screen play was great and was very captivating. I thought characters like doctor Gawl was incredible. Every time she spoke you could feel the evil radiating from her just like it is described in the book. A few things that could have been done better was Lucy grey accent changed and wasn’t very consistent through out the movie. As well the cgi was lacking a little in some scenes. As well I felt that the movie could have been more violent. I felt that they tried to tone down the violence a little to much which meant it wasn’t as entertaining for people who liked the dark side of the books. Overall though it was a very enjoyable movie and even though I listed a few problems they are only very minor and don’t really take away from how good the movie was.
