The only reason I watched this movie was because Melton was on Kelly Clarkson's show this morning. I watch a lot of Netflix but missed or didn't pay attention to the release of this film.
I really was thrown off from the beginning. It wasn't making sense. I remember the true life events. But this story/movie was poorly presented in my estimation. And who thought it was a comedy? It was a
"Messidy". The sex scene was totally unnecessary. The last repetitive scene was irritating and unnecessary. TOO MUCH!! Natalie Portman's character was obviously as troubled as that of Moore's. I wondered as the movie was ending, how the remaining children are reacting to this being shown now. It has no social, moral or spiritual redeeming value in my estimation. There were too many themes introduced but underdeveloped in my opinion. Wished I had spent my time watching almost anything else!
