I’m not a film critic, film student, or someone even qualified to write reviews for movies. I just enjoy watching them and I really enjoyed the creator. I feel like Oppenheimer and Barbie really overshadowed the release of some really interesting films like this one. This movie actually made me and my boyfriend cry. I thought it was heartfelt and really helped viewers empathize with how oppressed groups would actually feel in the real world. It’s overall theme of freedom vs oppression and peace vs violence resonates pretty well with the events going on today.
