Although it is an entertaining film, it could have been a lot better. The movie feels crammed in and the story line feels fragmented (no set line). The intro could have used an additional time skip to how the fire house was restored and the Spengler family moving in. Then the story of Melody doesn’t feel truly concluded (who is she exactly?) and the mini marshmallow men were a pointless inclusion, along with Ray’s run in with the library ghost. I felt the story could have been so much better if it had one point of focus, but the movie seems to move around on lead character. Overall, a good film, but could have been great!
