I personally haven't read the book and didn't hear about it until I saw the movie. But even as an American citizen... This shit was ass. Like- the worst movie I have EVER seen. And thats comparing it to some of Netflix's shows/movies that just don't seem well put together. But throughout this entire movie I found myself, and the family I was watching it with, cringing and disgusted by almost every scene. From the worm scene, to the butt explosion, it just... No. It needs to be nuked.

I loved the way the movie was designed. People saying it's ugly, horrifying, and not like the original movie don't get that even the original movie was nothing like the original story. In the end of the movie everything is happy and stuff, but in the 1880 original story, Pinocchio ended up getting hanged. To make it short, this movie is more accurate.
