I went in with high expectations (which may have been the problem) from Raj Kumar Hirani and the amazing ensemble, but in the end found myself left unsatisfied and wanting more. The movie is good and has a fun storyline that people can connect with, and the message is clear but felt like execution could have been better. Usually RKH scenes either leave you crying, laughing or in awe of the dramatization, but in this case many of the comedic attempts felt a bit flat and forced. In most RKH movies I've either cried or laughed so hard that popcorn spilled over my clothes, but even though I was waiting for some of those moments here, they weren't in plenty. Shahrukh is good but I think Vicky Kaushal stole the show for me, his part of impactful. Tapsee Pannu is an amazing actor but disappointed that there weren't any shining moments for her in this movie. Overall, I would rate Munna Bhai and 3 idiots much higher than Dunki(unfortunately).
