What an excellent remastered vintage game!
I was doubtful at the beginning as I'm not used to playing games from the 90s even as a person who was born in that generation.
It takes a bit time and some research online to get used to the game and the control, and if you want to play it safe, choose Jill on easiest mode, or watch YouTube play through once a while during your game when you feel stuck so you're mentally prepared.
I was surprised how enjoyable this RE is to me. It reminded me of the games I played in childhood that I had to explore all areas, examine everything so that I don't miss any hidden treasures etc.
The number of zombies were well-planned (on easiest mode for beginners like myself). You'll entercounter one or two here and there but not in every room.
Some useful tips to start with:
1. Burn the zombie's body after it fell down, otherwise it'll revive into a faster zombie.
2. Only save when you make considerable progress as saves are limited.
3. Shotgun is the only weapon that you have to aim upward to do headshot. While other guns like handgun you just need to shoot straight, headshot chances for these guns are random, so burn the bodies if it didn't happen.
4. Learn how to dodge zombies from YouTube, cause you have limited fuel to burn bodies. In some isolated room it's better to take all items there and dodge the zombie then just leave the room.
