Finally somebody talking a bit of sense about Putin. I agree that it won't end with the Ukraine. He started with the Crimea, I believe to test the Wests resolve, when he didn't even get sent to the naughty corner he realised that the West was frozen in its' politically correct, trade driven complacency.
I believe he then started stockpiling to buffer against the expected trade sanctions, while probably negotiating with China for a two pronged assault on the Wests influence.
There will be war, at least in Europe, after Ukraine he will roll through Latvia, Estonia, the 'Stans and eventually reaching his aim of reconvening the old Soviet Republic, gathering resources and probably manpower with every conquest. He will become unstoppable at some point.
If the West is ever going to stop him they need to do it as soon as possible, while keeping a sharp eye out for the knife in the back from China.
In many ways his actions remind me of Hitler, another weak bully with a Napoleon complex.
