I can’t criticise this movie - it was very, very good. Excellent acting, fantastic music and really moving and insightful. Aretha had a tough time and she pulled through and became a musical legend. This movie captures her story beautifully.

An evocative film that drew me in from the first moment. No high drama but a deep insightful look at the nomadic life and why people find peace and pleasure from the an array of people they meet and the places they travel . Frances Mc is just fabulous and totally real and believable in her role. She truly is a gem of an actress . A profound viewing experience. I was captivated for the entire movie and it ended as as I expected with tears in my eyes.

I found the episodes a bit slow and predictable at times and thought about giving but persevered. I was disappointed with the end as it just drifts along and then sets up the next season. Some characters didn’t meld together such as Kate and Johnny, they seemed odd together, yet they were main characters. I’ll watch the next season but if there is something better on, well that will come first. Just a bit lacklustre after Bridgerton , The Stranger and Safe et al.

Loved series 1 it was hilarious and I became a devotee. Series 2 has me giggle and I enjoyed. Series 3 is ok but a bit forced and scripted. When the interchange between father and son is natural it is wonderful. I’ve had some laughs from series 3 but it’s not a patch on series 1. Guys you have the talent... stop scripting it so much and just go with it. The Sun City old people’s home scenes were cringeworthy. Please keep going but revert to series 1 formula and retire the writers!! Rely on your own interactions. Can I come to your for lunch what a laugh that would be. 😄

Being a fan of a good family saga and clever thrillers, I thought I’d give this show a go. I have respect for Adrian Lester as an actor, so I was expecting big things. I have just finished series 1 episode 3 and I will probably finish the season but it’s pretty awful. Beautiful scenery and settings generally....that’s the positives done. The acting particularly by Julia Stiles is awful....she just doesn’t capture the character at all Aghhhh!!! It has the potential to be a good show but the script is not well written and at times I cringed at the dialogue and the way it was delivered by the actors. For me, it is certainly not the show that I jumping around waiting to see the next episode. It could have been so good but it is just ordinary but I love beautiful things so I will probably watch it for the scenery not to mention the humour factor ..... and it’s not a comedy!!!!

Have been bingeing on all seasons. Season 1 was simply outstanding. Really well written and acted by a superb cast including Andy. Absolutely hilarious!! Season 2 and 3 were just passable but a case of trying to hard. No one can come close to Andy in season 1. Seasons 4 I am managed a giggle or two but it was getting silly. Season 5 is awful and not funny. Andie McDowell is a great actress but not in this show. I am getting bored with season 5 and I don’t think I’ll even finish watching the season but if I so it will be out of curiosity certainly not for the laughs.

I have watched this film twice. I am staggered by the beautiful photography even when some scenes weren’T beautiful. A sad and moving story with some strong performances. I usually hate sub titles in movies but I found this film so visually stunning I didn’t mind. It is so far removed from my western culture I found it very interesting. My only criticism was that the lead actress was a little too western.
