It was pretty dry for the first half of the movie. The second half picked up a bit. I went into with high expectations as Marvel films have set a pretty high precedent. That being said I was kind of let down. I feel there were a lot of missed opportunities, I didn't regret seeing it in theaters by any means but it really wasn't anything special. In terms of female led comic movies... It is more relatable to the females of the world than Wonder Woman was and had a very good message for women and men, boys and girls. But Wonder Woman was by far the superior movie in terms of overall enjoyment, wittiness and fun, while still being more intense. I think some important issues are thrown into Captain Marvel. It just was kind of a yawner.
