This was a fantastic read, providing insight to the creation of tarot and how it has grown through the decks created by those early artists. Thoroughly enjoyed the history lesson and then the beautiful decks that the author shared.

It is a good book for beginners as she rehashes information so much I ended up skipping more than half. I felt very disconnected from her interpretations, especially with assigning zodiac to each court member. She also felt like someone trying desperately to connect with a younger audience. Additionally, several court cards were given much more information than others. She must not think much of the Queen n King of Cups as their entries had the least amount of information. But man does she love King of Swords. The only valuable part of the book was pages 215-235, where she summarizes everything succinctly.
