Somehow, anything with Bethesda in the title, regardless of how little input they have with the game... is glitchy. I believe I played this originally on the xbox 360. On my xbox one (whatever), more glitches. Especially with sound or more enjoyable weapons like the ripper. Like game stopping, I'm glad I saved recently, glitches. Pro tip: Don't keep that many saves. Think the game allows 50. Just a small(er) selection.
If I was judging a Bethesda title with the glitches, well, we'd never get above 3 stars. Certainly not the 4 I gave this. However, I've lost Loyal. He isn't at the air base. He isn't at Black Mountain. He is gone. And, Raul? One dialog option short of completing his quest. But, without Loyal? It's a loss. I have a console. I was accepting of the repeat error I made with Dean. Damn fragile ego there. But Loyal?
Other than that? My favorite out of Fallout 3, New Vegas and 4. I adore the DLCs. Dead Money was my favorite. But, I really liked Old World this time around. 6 death claws at the Courier Run of Suicide? Nope.
But, I do love this game. The karma style. How my companions just randomly offed someone at the Lucky 38. Rawr. The Fallout weapons. How the dialog changes from being a woman character to being a male... especially, when dealing with Caesar. It's a blast. Much less quests than Fallout 4. But, the quality of them is far more superior.
Although, you can trip up a questline and not even realise it. Or lose a NPC on the map.... like Veronica. That no amount of traveling to Vault 22 solves.
But, a great game.
