I really liked the fact that it was gore. But one thing bothered me. Wasn't Wesker black in the past? If RE absolutely followed the story well they would have respected the characters. In short, at least there is some things that comes close to history. I understand that some people would like characters maybe more badass but what is fun to see for a zombie fan is the blood and dismemberment ahaha.
But for my part Resident Evil 1 the movie is the best.
