All those reviews down there feel like they make ponniyin selvan over rated or at least that's what i thought about those reviews until i started reading it. A timeless classic it is and yes i had to agree for a book so addictive that makes you forget that the story was published 70 years ago.the man kalki has inspired many authors to continue its story and some had actually written them too. Watch aayirathil oruvan movie after reading you will know what selvaraghavan wanted us to see. That movie sure deserved a lot than it received
