150 pages in so far into the Dark Forest. This work far exceeds what would be normally called Science Fiction. It explores incredible philosophical ideas and ties them to society -- all within the Trisolaris , Earth struggle. A simple but deep thought: How would a society look where no one lies or has the ability to lie. How would this affect society and how would such a society behave when it comes in contact with one that is adept at guile and strategy and hiding ones true intentions. Just one of the ideas explored and studied and worked into the strategy of either sides response. Read this book and reflect on this book. I find it hard to imagine how so many different ideas could come out of the mind of one person and tied together so coherently and beautifully as the world of 3 body. Cixin Liu is truly a master of masters, I think this work would stand the test of time like The Foundation series and inspire generations of readers and writers of science fiction.
