Hi,
I will introduce myself as a Ranian(Rani Mukerji's die hard fan). Not being biased being a Ranian but I have to say the movie is perfect! Each and every detail was too good. Anyone watching the movie has to come back with wet puffed eyes and a heavy heart filled with pride. The producing and the direction was literally to the point. No extra details were added just the real life incidents were put into action.
Now if I speak about Rani's performance, it is to say that, you don't have to get into the story, Rani will take you and make you feel the mother's pain and will make you cry. She has portrayed herself as a Mother, not only as the character of the real mother Sagarika or Debika. Rani didn't think about her looks, she just portrayed her real face in front of the camera. She has already said in an interview (recently) - 'Audiences had know me for the last 27 years and they know about my flaws, I do not need to prove myself perfect'.
Speaking about the whole cast, everyone has their true natural feeling as the incident is completely like that. Anirban Sir has nailed his character. I have seen how the hall was irritated by his character, which proves he was literally into the character.
Overall anyone who is going to watch a film after a year or more will surely say that 'Yes such films are still there to bring smile on our face'.
Now being a law student I felt it's a must watch film for every lawyers. They must know that fighting a case is not easy. You just have to bring out your knowledge and win it. Proving the facts and issues is what you have to stick to. How Sagarika broke some laws, done whatever she can do to get back her children from the fosters, shows that mother's can do anything for her children.
Wish that every Mom will feel that how Sagarika(the real life Mother) felt.
