It’s crazy that some people believe holding the government accountable for torturing someone to death makes you sympathetic to terrorists or diminishes the memory of people lost on 9/11. Torture just straight up doesn’t work, perpetuates the recruitment of more terrorists, and debases America. Holding our government responsible for their actions is a privilege right-wingers shouldn’t be so eager to give up.
Anyway, the movie covers super interesting material but goes get a bit flat in delivery. Torture scenes are extremely difficult to watch.

It is an altogether fresh take on a coming-of-age movie and the soundtrack was brilliant. If you think that teenage girls swearing or masturbating is outrageous and offensive, you have clearly never been a teenage girl.
